HUSTED RELEASES JUNE FILING FIGURES FOR NEW BUSINESSES
COLUMBUS – Secretary of State Jon Husted today
announced that 7,339 new entities filed to do business in Ohio in June. These
numbers are up compared to June 2011, in which 6,831 new entities filed with the
Secretary of State. The Secretary of State’s office has assisted with 46,591 new
business filings to date in 2012 (January-June). This is a slight increase from
the same time period last year, in which there were 43,988 new business
filings.
