Chamber Seeks Marketing and Project Management Assistant

Description: Marketing and Project Management Assistant (Part-time, up to approximately 30 hrs/week)

Marketing Assistant Job Purpose: Supports marketing and project management operations by compiling, formatting, and reporting information and materials. Position provides direct support in the development and production of marketing and informational materials. Principally responsible for assisting in the in the compilation, updating, and modifying marketing materials, and information on the organization’s website and related print and electronic marketing initiatives. The position will assist in the development of proposals, analyses, and informational reports.

Illustrative Job Duties:

·         Assists in the development and production of monthly and other periodic reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations.
·         Updates key contact database by inputting data from direct and indirect contacts; compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, distributing reports.
·         Provides direct support in the writing, editing, and distribution of newsletters and other out-bound print and electronic publications. 
·         Supports public presentations by assembling relevant statistics, project-related information, and other germane data, incorporating same into various electronic media and/or presentation software programs.
·         Supports response to prospect opportunities by coordinating and assembling relevant site data, community statistics, project-related information, and other germane data, incorporating same into various electronic media and/or presentation software programs.
·         Prepares mailers and brochures by formatting content and graphics; arranging printing and Internet packages.
·         Maintains, monitors, and replenishes marketing library.
·         Maintains and updates library and database of available sites and facilities, by coordinating and assembling relevant site data, community statistics, location-specific-information, and other germane data, incorporating same into various electronic media and/or presentation software programs.
·         Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
·         Accomplishes marketing, project management, and organization mission by completing related projects, as needed.
·         Performs other duties necessary to the success of the organization, as assigned.
Essential Skills: Demonstrated writing and composition aptitude, website and marketing graphics skills, reporting abilities, experience analyzing information, excellent inter-personal skills, effective communication capabilities, demonstrated project management and organizational skills, math skills, data entry skills, Microsoft Office Skills.  

Minimum Qualifications: An evident combination of education and experience which demonstrates a clear, documented achievement of, and success in, the job duties and skills identified. Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of an Associate Degree in one of the following: Advertising Technology, Business Management, Marketing, Digital Media, Organizational Management, or closely-related field.
