Farmers Market Continues to Thrive

If you haven't taken the time to visit the Farmer's Market in downtown Newark, you still have time. This past Friday brought in huge crowds and many vendors left with their trucks completely empty.

The Market is open every Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is located on S. 3rd St. beside McDonald's. There you will find fresh vegetables, fresh meat, herbs, spices, bread, baked goods and more. And you may be surprised to learn that it is operated by volunteers of the Licking County Chamber of Commerce Downtown Committee.

On August 22 the Annual Car Show will be a part of the Market as well, so make a trip downtown and shop at the Market. You'll be glad you did.
If you would like more information on the Market, please contact Vicky Crist at the Chamber at 740.345.9757 or vcrist@lickingcountychamber.com
