Help for Small Businesses - Top 10 List

I have been doing some cleaning in my office this week to make room for yet more paperwork and came across some great information to help small businesses. I found a publication authored by SCORE that listed 10 websites that every small business should visit. Here is the list:

  1. - This site includes information on all areas of business.

  2. - The Center for Business Planning helps you plan, document and evaluate all aspects of your business strategy.

  3. - From The Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, this site offers resources for starting, growing and supporting your business.

  4. - This site helps find seed money for small businesses.

  5. - Billed as "By entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs", this site aims to help small businesses get started and grow.
  6. - Here you will find an online course that provides basic do's and don'ts for entrepreneurs.
  7. - Find information about the U.S. Small Business Administration's guaranteed loan programs, government resources and legislation relating to small businesses.
  8. - the CCH Business Owners Toolkit offers small business tax information, a small office/home office guidebook and more.
  9. - If you're self-employed, a home-based business owner, a free agent, an e-lancer, a telecommuter, or other independent professional then this site's for you.
  10. - Get tips for building and growing your website, attracting customers, making money and managing operations.

There you have it.
