Attended Legislative Day today at The Boeing Company in Heath. They did an outstanding job with their presentation on what the Heath facility means to The Boeing Company.
Several of their top (corporate-wide) executives have strong ties to Ohio and the Heath facility. The "new" Center Director, Charles Dutch, may be new to his current position, but he has been coming to the Heath facility for over 25 years.
Mr. Dutch mentioned that the Heath facility has not missed a delivery in 13 years. Now think about that. 13 years with a perfect record of on-time deliveries. Impressive.
And I have to tell you that it was very obvious that every employee recognizes the importance of what they do everyday. They are providing the people who protect you and I with reliable equipment so that they can continue to keep our country safe. Right here in Licking County.
